Dear God,
My heart is heavy due to the passing of someone I love.
I can’t seem to find the light or my way back to peace.
I call upon the power of Your love to lift me up and surround me. I need Your strength to heal my heart as I move through this. I accept that we are all eternal beings and that my loved one is with me now. As I let go of the feelings of grief and loss, I will be more aware of the constancy of their love. I ask that Your loving thoughts replace my thoughts of fear and sadness and loss. Please steady my feet and reinforce every step so I can feel the safety and comfort of Your love. I am willing to know that my loved one is happy, healthy, and safe in Your care and this brings great peace to my mind and heart. In the certainty of Your love, strength, confidence, and support, I will find my way back to peace. Thy will be done. Amen
